Morning Tea Traditions
Jodi and Andrew started their wedding day with two heartfelt tea ceremonies. One at her family home, the other at his. These moments were quiet and full of meaning, a beautiful way to express gratitude and bring two families together.

First Look at the Library
Their first look took place at the Vancouver Public Library, with its dramatic architecture and soft, diffused light. Jodi’s approach from behind ended in a warm hug and a powerful, emotional reaction from Andrew. Bonus? We got access to the top floor for photos. Absolute magic.

City Strolls and Park Feels
We wandered downtown post-library and landed at David Lam Park. Despite cherry blossoms not being in bloom, the city sparkled around them. The vibe was laid-back and full of laughter, especially with their wedding party in tow.

Ceremony in a Secret Garden
The vows were exchanged in Brix & Mortar’s hidden courtyard. Think ivy-covered brick, glass ceilings, string lights—it felt like an urban garden oasis. Covered but open. Private but full of charm.

Ellie for the Win
Jodi and Andrew’s dog, Ellie, made a surprise appearance. Short and sweet, but just enough to melt hearts. The Man of Honor also sang a song that brought the entire courtyard to tears.

Dinner & Dancing
Inside Brix & Mortar, the energy was warm and electric. The two-level space with exposed brick and string lights made it easy for guests to mingle and dance. The food? Refined West Coast cuisine—beautifully plated and anything but typical wedding fare.

Why This One Stuck with Me
This day had so much heart. From the early morning tea ceremonies to Ellie’s surprise cameo and that stunning glass-roofed courtyard. Everything felt intentional and deeply personal. Jodi and Andrew created a celebration that was as real as it was romantic.
