Alex and Rob’s Day to Remember
From our first coffee at the downtown library to photos in Seoul and vows under the trees at UBC Botanical Garden, this day was unforgettable. Rob and Alex, thank you for trusting me to photograph your wedding.

Alex’s Magic Touch
I could see how much heart and energy went into every part of your day. From that insanely detailed planning list to every single floral and decor piece you hand crafted yourselves, it was wild to see it all come together. You really made the UBC Botanical Garden shine. I still can’t believe you and Rob pulled it off on your own. Your eye for detail and the magic you created that day was something special.

Rob’s Steady Calm
Rob, your easy humor and calm support made such a difference. No matter what Alex needed, you were always there, kind, patient, and totally in it with her. It was such a blast getting to connect with both of you and be part of your wedding. Thank you again for letting me document it all.

Spanish Banks Glow
We started the day at Spanish Banks. The light was soft, slipping through the trees, and the water view gave everything this calm golden glow. Doing family photos there meant you could head straight into cocktail hour later, relaxed and ready to celebrate.

Always worth it to have tents or covered spaces ready just in case. - Prep Your Guests
Remind them it’s an outdoor day. Shoes, sunscreen, layers—whatever helps them stay comfy. - Keep Comfort in Mind

Why Get Married at UBC Botanical Garden?
If you want your wedding to look like it came straight out of a magazine, this is the spot. The ceremony area feels like you’re saying your vows deep inside a forest. It’s that magical. And the reception space? It’s totally unique in Vancouver with string lights, lush greenery, and that open-air garden vibe that makes everything feel intimate and dreamy.
That said, it is more of a blank slate. You’ll need to bring in your own décor, catering, and pretty much everything else to make it all come together. So if you’re up for a little extra planning, it’s 100% worth it. Rob and Alex’s wedding was absolutely stunning here, and yours can be too.
Big thanks again to Rob and Alex for letting me be part of such a meaningful day. It was a joy from start to finish.
