The Couple Who Changed My Life

Rose and Hoang aren’t just any couple. They’re close friends who mean the world to me. When they asked me to photograph their wedding, it was more than an honor. It was personal. I’ll always treasure that chance to capture such an important day for two people I care about so deeply. I’m incredibly grateful they gave me that opportunity.

Why Brix & Mortar Is Built for Vancouver Weather
If you live in Vancouver, you know the weather can flip in an instant. Everyone hopes for sun, but sometimes rain shows up instead. That’s where Brix & Mortar really shines. The covered courtyard means your ceremony stays beautiful no matter what the sky is doing. Twinkling lights. Brick walls. A glass ceiling. It’s like the city wrapped in romance.

The Magic of Rainy Day Photos
It rained on Rose and Hoang’s wedding day. And honestly, it was perfect. We headed to the Vancouver Public Library for their portraits. The architecture gave us shelter and soft light. The rain added this dreamy calm to the whole afternoon. Those photos are some of my favorites. Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that stay with you the longest.

What Really Matters
It’s never really about the weather. It’s about the people. It’s about two families coming together. The laughter. The tears. The moment everything slows down and you realize you just married your favorite person. Rain or shine. That’s what you’ll remember most.
