A Cinematic Morning with Noele and Jeremy
Some places feel different. Not just a backdrop. They hold stories. Memories. Energy. That’s what made Noele and Jeremy’s session in Downtown Cloverdale feel so special.
It was calm. It was personal. And honestly, it felt like a scene from a movie.

A Location That Already Means Something
For Noele and Jeremy, Cloverdale isn’t just a cute downtown in Surrey. It’s home. It’s where it all started. With their house about to be rebuilt, this session became a way to hold on to this chapter before it changes.
Instead of picking a trendy photo spot, they picked meaning. And that made every frame feel more grounded. More honest.

Why We Met at 5 AM (And Why It Was So Worth It)
Yep. We started at five in the morning. The streets were still. The string lights were still on. That soft blue light before the sun came up gave everything a cinematic glow.
Cloverdale has this peace you don’t often get in city shoots. Especially in places like downtown Vancouver. But here? It felt like we had the whole town to ourselves.

A Real-Life Movie Set
Fun fact — Cloverdale has been in shows like Smallville and Supernatural. That old-town charm you see on screen? It’s real. Christ Church and the heritage buildings on 176 Street have this lived-in texture that just looks beautiful in photos.
No staging needed. It just works.

Murals That Add Life and Color
One of my favorite parts? The murals. They’re bold. Full of personality. And scattered all over downtown.
We found ones with sunflowers, bursts of color, and creative designs that matched Noele and Jeremy’s energy perfectly. Each mural gave the gallery a fresh, fun vibe without needing to pose too much.

The Little Details That Make It Feel Special
What stood out most were the small things:
String lights above the sidewalks
Vintage signs and brick walls
Quiet moments with no cars around
Windows and textures that add depth to every shot
You don’t find this mix just anywhere. Cloverdale feels real. And that makes a difference.

I Didn’t Expect to Love It This Much
Honestly, I wasn’t sure at first. But this session completely won me over. The place has charm. It has heart. It doesn’t try too hard, and that’s what makes it work.
Huge thanks to Noele and Jeremy for trusting me with a place that means so much to them. Now it’s one of my favorite spots for couples who want something that feels real and cinematic at the same time.
