Whytecliff Park Engagement Photos in North Vancouver with Rose and Hoang
Ocean views. Moody rocks. West Van magic.
Whytecliff Park is one of those spots you keep coming back to. It’s tucked near Horseshoe Bay and always delivers with epic backdrops. Ocean. Rock. Trees. It’s all here.
We met up with Hoang and Rose here for the second half of their engagement shoot. It gets busy so we came early. The light was soft and the spot was calm.
Why I love this park? The view is unreal. And it offers so much in one location. Cliffs, forest, water, trails. A lot of places don’t give you this much variety.
We kept things simple. Walked around. Took our time. Just let them be themselves while I clicked away.
Tips for Shooting at Whytecliff Park
Come early
Sunrise is quiet and peaceful. You’ll avoid the crowds and get the best light.
Sunset is just as good
If mornings aren’t your thing, golden hour here is unreal.
Pay for parking
No one wants a ticket. They check often.
Walk around
There’s way more than just the main rock. Hike a little. Explore. You’ll find spots that feel like they’re just yours.
