Lauren and Keith’s wedding day was such a beautiful celebration of love, and it all kicked off at the absolutely stunning Holy Rosary Catholic Church in downtown Vancouver. Honestly, it was my first time photographing there, and I was just blown away. The church is so gorgeous—the stained glass windows, the high vaulted ceilings, the intricate architecture—it all comes together to create this incredible, timeless vibe. It was the perfect setting for Lauren and Keith to say "I do."
The ceremony was honestly magical. Lauren and Keith saw each other for the first time that day at the altar, and you could see the joy all over their faces. The priest gave a beautiful and heartfelt homily that really hit home about what marriage is all about—love, respect, commitment, and building a life together. It felt personal, and you could tell it resonated with everyone in the room.
Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her gown, and Keith was looking sharp as ever. The love they shared just filled the church, and it was such a joy to capture.
After the ceremony, we headed outside to get some group shots with the family and bridal party. The weather was classic Vancouver—overcast with a little drama in the sky—but luckily, the rain held off, even though it had been in the forecast. The stone facade of the church made for such a beautiful and classic backdrop, and everyone was in high spirits. It was one of those days where you could just feel the love all around.
One of the great things about Holy Rosary Catholic Church is that it's right in downtown Vancouver, so we had a ton of amazing photo locations close by. Our first stop was the Vancouver Public Library. Its unique design, with the curved glass and open spaces, added a modern touch to the day, and we got some really cool shots that captured Lauren and Keith’s joyful connection.
Then we made our way over to one of Lauren’s favorite spots—the marina near David Lam Park. The views there are stunning, with the water and the cityscape blending perfectly together. It was the ideal spot for some romantic portraits that really showcased Vancouver's diverse beauty.
After our photo adventures, we made our way to Brix and Mortar in Yaletown for the reception. The vibe there was just perfect—intimate, charming, and full of character. As soon as Lauren and Keith walked in, they were greeted with cheers and applause from their family and friends, setting the tone for a night full of love and laughter.
The details at the reception were seriously amazing. Every little thing had been thoughtfully crafted—there were custom vases that Lauren had made herself and handmade cookies at each place setting. You could really see the love and effort that went into making the day special. Keith’s uncle, who was the MC, kept the energy high with his entertaining stories and games that had everyone laughing and having a blast.
Lauren and Keith, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your incredible day. It was truly an honor to capture your love story, and I couldn’t be happier for you. The support and joy from your family and friends were absolutely inspiring, and I’m wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together.
